Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress with a range of talents, who's mostly connected to sitcoms in TV and got the most coveted opportunity to shine in the wife of Jeff Foxworthy on the ABC show "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which ran for just one season, from 1995 to. Barone performed on stage for the first time at 5 years old in Detroit following the move of her family away from St Louis. She was 23 when Barone had appeared in more than 50 plays. The majority of these were in regional and university theaters. She was Juliet as the twisted young nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the principal character in "Monday After the Miracle"" as well as Juliet also for the role of Juliet "Romeo as well as Juliet." Her screen debut came by playing a minor role as a character in "The Roseary Murders" (1987) as well as some time as a character in "Ricochet" (1991) and was cast as the lead on the indie romance comedy "Just Friends" (1996). Barone got her first recognizable Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - the ill-fated attempt by Carol Burnett in trying to bring back the comedy sketch show. Barone has also appeared in a"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". In the end, she got back to her weekly sitcom grind, co-starring with Michael Chiklis in "Daddio" (NBC 2001).
